"That's stupid"  "why are we doing that"  "What a dumb game".........these are the comments from a Middle school student that was loved by volunteer youth workers and his life was changed for all of eternity.  I know the student well because it was me, Steve Kornbau.  God personally got a hold of my life when I was a Middle School student and who would have ever thought that I would be loving students like me and shepherding an army of adults.  I graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University in '95 and came on staff at Calvary 3 days after graduation.  Over the past 9 years, my passion for Christ has deepened thus expanding my vision for Middle School ministry.  I believe that the middle school years are the most critical season in a human beings life and committed to seeing them become devoted followers of Christ.  I have a Masters in Organizational Leadership from PBU too.

 I have been married to the woman of my dreams for 2 years.  Her name is Sarah.  We are expecting our first child any day and truly excited about becoming a family.  We love to do outdoor things together like hiking, camping, fishing and biking.  I enjoy running, mountain biking, bow hunting and anything else that is active.  We love to eat too.  I am originally from York, PA and Sarah is from Lancaster, PA.  Our dream is that if God allows us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary we will be able to share that we have prayed together every day of our marriage since we know that without God's help  we are done.
