Wonderbabes
Welcome to WonderBabes and WonderTots, where the youngest
members of our Church family are nurtured in a safe and loving
environment. As of January 2006, I am the new Small Wonders Coordinator. Within the next few months I hope to meet all of you and get to know your precious little ones. I will always be available before, during and after the 9:50 am service if you would like to talk to me in person. You can also reach me through email or by calling the church and leaving me a message.
Classes are provided for newborn through 3 year
olds during the 8:10, 9:50, 11:30, and 6:00 Sunday services and WonderPlace.
Through Bible lessons and activities, all children
are learning that God loves and cares for them. The WonderBabes
and WonderTots staff considers their time with your child
to be a ministry both to you and your child!
Our Faith Steps to Growing a Fully Devoted Follower of Christ are the developmental steps of spiritual formation that build on each other and help us work through transitions between age levels.
WonderBabes Department: Infant - 2 1/2 years old
A graduating WonderBabe should
- Have positive feelings as they are loved and nurtured by caregivers
- Begin to understand that God loves them
- Begin to understand that the Bible is God's book
WonderTots Department: 2 1/2 and 3 years old
A graduating WonderTot should
- Begin to understand that the Bible tells us about God
- Begin to understand that God made us and loves us
- Show beginning signs of trust through separation from parents and participate in classroom activities
- Begin to know who Jesus is
- Learn to sit for a Bible lesson
