The Treasures In Him Worship Team is an interactive music and worship program that teaches children in grades 3rd through 8th to worship God through music, puppets, drama, technical and scenery. This team is responsible for creating, preparing and presenting a high-energy worship time for kindergarten through 5th grade at the 9:50 a.m. service on Sundays. FAQ About Treasures in Him
WHEN DOES TREASURES IN HIM MEET?
- The Treasures in Him Worship Team meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING AS PART OF THE TREASURES IN HIM TEAM?
- You will choose to participate in one of the following areas: drama, puppets, vocals, technical, scenery/props, set-up crew, shepherding or motions.
WHAT DOES THE VOCAL TEAM DO?
- As part of the vocal team, you will learn the worship songs and lead those songs during worship time at the 9:50 hour service.
WHAT IF CHOOSE THE DRAMA GROUP?
- To become a part of the drama group, you will need to come out to an audition to be held in June. If you are selected as part of the drama team, you will be responsible for memorizing scripts and presenting dramas on Sunday mornings. If you are not selected for the drama team, you will participate in one of the other areas.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW TO BE PART OF THE DRAMA PUPPET TEAM?
- As part of the drama puppet team, you will need a strong arm. If you are selected as part of the drama puppet team, you will be responsible for memorizing scripts and presenting puppet dramas on Sunday mornings. If you are not selected to be a part of the drama puppet team, you will participate in another area of the worship team.
WHAT IS THE TECHNICAL CREW?
- As part of the Technical Crew you will assist with set up and operation of the sound system, lighting and musical instruments. You would also be responsible for the music books, overheads, chairs and music stand set ups, stage set ups, etc. on both Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings.
WHAT IS THE SHEPHERDING TEAM?
- The Shepherding Team will help take care of the Worship Team. They will be assigned children on the Team who they will nurture through notes of encouragement, telephone calls and encouraging words.
WHAT IS MY COMMITMENT TO THE TREASURES IN HIM PROGRAM?
- As part of the Treasures in Him Worship Team, you will be expected to attend the Tuesday evening rehearsals, as scheduled. You will also need to attend Sunday mornings when you are scheduled to be part of the program.
WHAT IF I PARTICIPATE IN OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH MEETING MY COMMITMENT?
- You will be given a limited amount of time off each year for these activities. This is explained in the application packet.

All children, entering 3rd-8th grade in the fall, are invited to come out for an exciting week of Vocals, Drama, Puppets, Rods, Tech, and STOMP!
Time: 7:00-8:30 pm each evening
Cost: $35.00 for one child and $70.00 for two or more children
Place: Calvary Fellowship Church
To register your child(ren), pick up a form in the West lobby or at the WonderWorks registration window on the second floor.
